Hot Pink Hello Kitty!

Hello. Today I did a hello kitty mani. I used the Hello Kitty plate from the Born Pretty Store.

I started with Fresh Paint in Island. This is three coats.

Then I used Absolute Fuschia  and made the hello kitty print. (They didnt come out to good though..I must practice more on my stamping). Then I used my new bundle monster and made circle designs using Sinful colors in Satin.

Lastly, I decided it was too plain and freehanded hot pink tips since scotch taping does not work for me. 

They didn't come out as I had in mind, but they will do for now.

Application was a bit streaky on first coat but i think it was because of my base coat. This is two coats. Very fresh and pretty although at first I thought it was a bit chalky for my skin color.

Then I used a dotting tool and made flowers using Funky Fingers Starling

And lastly, I used rhinestones in the middle of the flowers and topped it with my top coat.

Simple and Pretty. What do you think?

First Blog : Easter Nails

So I finally started my own blog. Lets see where this goes. I dont plan to do endless swatches, but I want to show you guys my current buys and nail art : )

These are my nails for Easter:
First I put Absolute in yellow. This is three very annoying coats. It was goopy and streaky. The ring finger is China Glaze in Empowerment. Then I used Sally Hansen top coat which made it melt together and look less ugly. Then using a dotting tool that I ordered on ebay, I dotted my nails with Empowerment on all the fingers except my ring finger which I used Yellow.
